This dinner pulls together a slected group of people who are leading some of NYC's most innovative companies as well as some investors in the space. The conversation for this dinner will focus on what we've all learned during 2015 as it relates to fundraising, wealth generation, and founder specific nuggets of knowledge (i.e., how to ensure you limit capital gains when you sell your shares).

Most of all, this will just generally be a fun couple of hours to meet new people that.

Private Equity Investing - What I Learned in 2015

Gavin Myers

I am delighted to invite you to my first Voray, a congenial gathering of private equity investors for whom I have deep respect.

As we wrap up another busy year in our industry and are set to embark on an uncertain 2016, I find it useful to recall the key lessons I have learned over the past 12 months. During our dinner, I would encourage everyone to think about one key lesson they learned in 2015 and be prepared to share it with the group. It does not have to be earth shattering, just something meaningful that you would like to share. The goal is for each of us to leave the dinner with 10 - 15 pieces of wisdom collected from some of the smartest people I know in the industry.

I hope you find the evening both thought provoking as well as a great opportunity to network with like-minded professionals!
